To promote this year’s “Great Horror Campout,” the event producers at Ten Thirty One Productions will be hosting an outdoor screening of “Friday the 13th: The Final Chapter” this March on, of course, Friday the 13th.
Like other outdoor screenings that occur throughout Los Angeles, guests are encouraged to bring blankets and picnic baskets. But don’t expect this to be a casual wine and cheese night. “Moviegoers can expect a little something extra breathing in the woods around them that night as well as pre-movie festivities, prizes and great characters,” claim the folks at Ten Thirty One Productions, who also produce “The Los Angeles Haunted Hayride.”
Tickets are on sale now for $13 each.
The next “Great Horror Campout” takes place June 5th and 6th. Campers to this 12 hour, overnight event will be the star (or victim) of a real life slasher film (they call it a “real life horror adventure”). Register by Friday the 13th (the night of the screening) and use discount code “Friday” to save $13 off admission.
Ten Thirty One Productions is also the company behind the legendary Los Angeles Haunted Hayride, which allows guests to observe the horrors of Griffith Park from the safety of a moving vehicle.
