Build Your Own Haunted Mansion or Michael Myers House Using Your Home Printer

As the arrival of the Great Pumpkin draws closer and school supplies are replaced with the ghoulish delights of Halloween, thoughts of trick-or-treating, haunted houses, pumpkins and parties creep forth from the cranial cobwebs.  The real horror of these macabre delights is the vanishing act they can perform on everyone’s cash flow.  Not to fear, we have a couple of suggestions that might ease the earnings erosion. For the cost of some card stock and printer ink, there are some festively fiendish finds on the weird wide web.

When the autumn breezes start to blow adding a slight chill in the air – haunted houses come to mind.  Among these ghostly dwellings, the stately Haunted Mansion leads the pack.  Over at Haunted Dimensions, Ray Keim has kindly crafted several versions of the home to 999 happy haunts.  Along with tombstones, mausoleums and even a few Horror Nights inspired facades, these paper models are free to download and build.   Crafting these eerie edifices doesn’t have to be scary when there are easy to follow haunted how-to instructions.  Peruse the Paper Model Purgatory HERE (and take a peek around the site, you might just find a few other spectral surprises (like an exploration of a haunted estate at the Knoll!)
