Jayne Mansfield Car – a Dearly Departed Fundraiser

We’ve been sitting on this one for a while, but the news can finally be announced: We’ve got Jayne Mansfield’s Car, or rather, we WILL have the car. Yes, THE car.
The thing is, we gotta pay for it. So…
WE’RE CLEANING OUT THE ATTIC
On Oscar Sunday, February 28, 2016, we’re having a garage/rummage/jumble/car boot/ treasure sale behind our shop. We’ll have plenty of stuff… GOOD stuff. This is a fundraiser to put the car on display in Hollywood, where it belongs, for all who wish to view it.
There will be a few “big ticket” items that will be available online beforehand. This stuff is quality.
IMPORTANT: Keep in mind, this is a fundraiser. There won’t be huge bargains here. There might be one or two ice cube trays, but for the most part there will be some pretty cool stuff at “collector” prices.
IMPORTANT #2: The 28th of February is the morning of Oscar Sunday, traffic is usually pretty tame. It’ll be quiet around Hollywood and you’ll be in and out in plenty of time. TWSS

Donations of items for the sale are very very welcome. There will be also be a funding project to raise the additional dosh, with incentives available. Again, cool stuff. Stay tuned for that part.

This car is being acquired because of our love for Jayne Mansfield and Hollywood. The car is history and although it’s not the kind of history everyone embraces, this is our thing. It always has been.
We don’t wish to seem disrespectful or insensitive, though it’s inevitable some would see it that way. We’re sorry in advance and hope you understand our position.
