As part of Bill Lobdell’s series, “Living Vicariously,” he endured a makeup chair and an hour inside a maze at Knott’s Halloween Haunt, scaring the crowds by threatening to give their phone number to the Times subscriptions sales department.
Okay, he wasn’t that scary.
