I've been to each attraction listed, and without a doubt, Universal's Halloween Horror Nights is by far the best! So much detail and intense sequences set it ahead of the rest.

Why all of the of the Frightfest hate people? You know deep down in your heart that Six Flags is the best place of Halloween, you shouldn't have "gag" voted for all the other choices.

Though the haunts listed are awesome and definitely have some big budget production value, I always like the Spooky House attraction out in Chatsworth.

They tend to have more offbeat themes and different scares that you're not going to find in the corporate attractions.
Kinda like the difference between a big budget film and an independent film. Both can be good in their own ways.
