First pumpkins trickle into TJ’s

Pretty meager selection of early pumpkins at the Silver Lake Trader Joe’s yesterday. Cheap though, only $3.49.

I agree. These pumpkins are weak. A visit to a true pumpkin patch is best for Halloween purists. Plus, it is hard to park at the Silverlake TJ’s.

My favorite way to have pumpkins is to cut a hole in them and fill them with vodka. You then put it the freezer for a day or so, and finally make some pumpkin pie. I love Halloween!
