Practice the corpse pose with yoga at Hollywood Forever Cemetery

In the off chance you end up being buried alive, you’ll want to be flexible, otherwise you’ll find laying prone will get tedious really quick. To prepare, practice yoga. Better yet – practice yoga with the dead at Hollywood Forever Cemetery.

Every Tuesday night, Rick Castro’s Antebellum Gallery hosts “Yoga Forever” from 7pm to 8:15pm right next to Douglas Fairbank’s memorial and a mausoleum alongside Paramount Studios back fence. You’ll be able to practice the downward-dog, the upside-down tortoise, and, of course, the corpse pose on the very ground you could find yourself interred in the near future (near being relative, of course).

To attend, bring $20 cash (includes parking), your own matt and some warm clothes (an eerie chill often creeps into the cemetery). Leave the shovel at home.

Tuesdays, 7pm-8:15pm
Yoga Forever at Hollywood Forever Cemetery, 6000 Santa Monica Blvd.
