Haunted Films at Haunted Places!

Our friends with GHOULA, (The Ghost Hunters of Urban Los Angeles) are running one of the most unique horror screening series of the season: projecting supernatural themed films onto the sides of supposedly haunted buildings around L.A.

Working with the Echo Park Film Center’s Filmmobile, GHOULA will be at a different location every Sunday evening throughout October. While the location will remain a secret until 24 hours before the screening (although they’ll give clues even earlier), they promise that in addition to the film they’ll have a speaker tell you the story of the haunted location, along with other surprises.

The first film, showing this Sunday at 7:30pm, is “Haunted Honeymoon,” written, directed, and starring Gene Wilder, and will be screened at “Hollywood’s most haunted location.”

Future “Haunted Films at Haunted Places” will feature….
October 10th , “Haunted Castle” @ an actual haunted castle.
October 17th , “House on Haunted Hill” (1999) @ a real haunted hospital.
October 24th , “House on Haunted Hill” (1959) @ the original haunted hill.
October 31th , “Haunted Silent Shorts” @ a haunted 1920′s hotel.

For exact locations, keep an eye on the Echo Park Film Center’s Facebook page, or check on GHOULA’s blog 24 hours before the screening.
