Frankenstein Meets Destroy All Design

Destroy All Design Meets Frankenstein

CreepyLA appreciates anyone who works best under the cover of night, and street artists are no exception. Especially when they pay homage to our ancestry.

So imagine our delight when we spotted this wheat paste by Destroy All Design outside the 99cent Store at Willoughby and La Brea, with an image of Boris Karloff as Frankenstein’s monster (let’s be clear – that isn’t Frankenstein, it’s his monster). In line with the artist’s trademark, the monster’s neckbolts have been replaced with joysticks.

We love it.

UPDATE 4/4/11: The artist’s distributors have offered an exclusive presale of  a limited number of prints of this work to readers of CreepyLA. Details here.
