DESCRIPTION:Join CreepyLA and GHOULA for a pre-Halloween hike up to behind the Hollywood sign. Along the way\, Richard Carradine will regale all in the numerous ghost stories and legends of Griffith Park. \n***WE WILL BEGIN THE HIKE FROM THE WONDERVIEW TRAILHEAD AT 5:15PM*** \nPlease allow plenty of time to park and walk up to the trailhead\, about 1/3 mile from Lake Hollywood & Wonderview. \nMap to parking and meetup/trailhead location: http://bit.ly/2xOXPEr \n***HIKING PATH**\nInfo about the route we will be hiking: http://bit.ly/2yAjmVB \nThe hike is about 3 miles roundtrip and expected to last between 1 hour and 90 minutes. \nWhile this may be the quickest way up to the Hollywood sign\, it is still rigorous with steep climbs to a variety of peaks both ways. \n***IMPORTANT NOTES*** \nIf you dare join us:\n*We strongly encourage wearing hiking boots or other hike worthy shoes.\n*Be sure to also bring water and maybe a snack.\n*Hike at your own risk. We are not responsible for any injuries\, snake bites\, mountain lion attacks\, or ghost sightings! \nSunset will be at 6:08pm\, and we expect to well on our way out by this time. Still\, feel free to bring a flashlight to be safe!
