Trick-Or-Treat?! Tickets: http://bit.ly/2dAaW3X
Join Atlas Obscura & Cartwheel Art Tours for a nocturnal Halloween celebration in the DTLA Arts District. Under the Full Hunter’s Moon, we’ll go door to door visiting artists’ and creatives’ homes and studios in a historic 1890s building, a former furniture warehouse that was one of the first adaptive reuse conversions to artist lofts in the area.
This exclusive experience will begin at Founder of Cartwheel Art Tours and publisher of Cartwheel Art Magazine, Cindy Schwarzstein’s loft, where we’ll view her private collection of Haitian and Outsider Art and learn more about her background as a collector and her role in the art industry.
Next, we’ll roam the building, knocking on the doors of her neighbors including photographers, painters, a wood worker, and a set designer. Kurt Jordan, Tally Floyd, Matthew Roharik, Jessica Stewart, and Nicholas Bonamy are just a few of the creative individuals you’ll meet on this tour. Post Tour: Join us around the corner for pizza and beer at Pizzanista! and Tony’s Saloon. Food and beverage not included in the ticket price, be sure to bring some extra cash.
