SoCal’s Guide to the Spooky Season: Sponsorships & Ads
Midsummer Scream’s Halloween Event Newsletter has become the ultimate repository of haunted houses and other spooky events happening in Southern California from late August to early November.
Being sent to a list of over 15,000 targeted recipients and boasting a near 40% open rate, the newsletter is the best way to promote your product, service, or event to Halloween and horror fans in one of the world’s largest markets.
Newsletters are sent weekly between Tuesday and Thursday, beginning the week of August 25 thru the week of November 3.
New for 2019: in addition to the newsletter, complete event listings are hosted and updated regularly online at creepyla.com/events, allowing the newsletter to better focus on only a handful of events.
Listings are free, however, sponsorship options are available for premium placement.
- Sponsored Email – Company logo featured in the header, and a paragraph of copy promoting the company will be included in the newsletter intro along with an optional inset photo. August/September/November: $300, October: $450, price per newsletter.
- Featured Event Listing – The first mentioned event (second only if the sponsor is also an event) along with a supersized image.
August/September/November: $200, October: $300, price per newsletter.
- Dedicated Promotional Email – Customized email designed only around your product, service, or event. You must provide initial copy and images.
August/September/November: $600, October: $750. Only one available per week.
- A Facebook post on Midsummer Scream’s page promoting sponsor or event included with each of the above.
