Seeing Things at Drkrm Gallery

A Mt. Washington family’s eerie Polaroids will finally be exhibited.

The owners of a modest home in Mt. Washington that had endured years of inexpicable sounds, fleeting images and broken crockery, and subsequently believing their house may be haunted, began taking Polaroid photographs of cold spots and places in the house where their dog refused to tread. What they saw in the snapshots was anything but ordinary and changed their lives forever.

Drkrm Gallery is presenting a special, limited-run Halloween retrospective called Seeing Things. This will be the first time the photographs have been displayed in public and are but a small representation of the hundreds the family took over the past two decades. Many of the photos were taken before the advent of digital technology and all are original and unique.

Opening night reception Saturday, October 27th, 7:00 PM to midnight. Special Halloween hours 7:00 PM to midnight with a special tribute to psychic Peter James. Through Nov. 4th.

Drkrm Gallery, 2121 San Fernando Rd., Suite 3, Los Angeles 90005.
