This Saturday, just a few feet from Johnny Ramone’s memorial at Hollywood Forever Cemetery, one of his favorite films will be projected on the side of a mausoleum, but with a couple twists: 1) The film, the original “Night of the Living Dead,” will be premiered for the first time in 3-D, and 2) The feature will be preceded by a concert film starring the Ramones themselves.
Attendance costs a mere $10 minimum donation (cheap!), with proceeds going to the USC Westside Prostate Cancer Center, and include a free pair of commorative 3-D glasses.
Also on hand will be Tommy Ramone and CJ Ramone, and attendees can also peruse an exhibit of Ramones memorabilia and art, including painting by Dee Dee Ramone.
Gates open at 5:30pm, and per usual, bring a blanket, pillows, liquor, and whatever else you need to get sedated.
