Ghosts of lions and tigers and bears, oh my. After a successful first year in a vacant Calabasas field, the Los Angeles Haunted Hayride is moving their 2010 frights to the eerie old zoo grounds in Griffith Park.
Beginning October 8th, visitors will hop aboard a tractor towed wagon, where they’ll be at the mercy of “fifteen foot tall mascots of death, a nice cute group of 200 year old children, and your friendly neighborhood clown.”
The $25+ admission also includes access to a Haunted Haymaze to get lost in, and a “Carnival of Souls” with rides for the lil ones, pumpkin face painting, and games.
Also returning this year are live celebrity readings of ghost stories. First up: the Exorcist’s Linda Blair.
Presale for tickets begins September 1st with a $3 discount for those who order early.
