Spike TV’s Scream Awards tape at the Greek Theatre on October 16th, and CreepyLA has the inside track on something a little cooler than tickets for nosebleed seats: an opportunity to be a “seatfiller” at the show.
Seatfillers are a bit like movie extras, but without the pay. They’re there to make sure that the millions of television viewers never see an empty seat when the cameras go for an audience shot. Mainly, this means that whenever a celebrity has to leave their chair to announce a nomination, pick up an award, or head to the bar for a drink, a seatfiller needs to be rushed to take their place until their return. And in the meantime they still get to watch the show from inside the venue.
For the Scream Awards, Gotham Casting is looking seatfiller candidates who can show up in goth, sci-fi or horror themed costumes to blend in with the rest of the audience. They’ll need to be available at the Greek Theatre on Saturday, October 16th from 4pm – 9pm.
You could be a seat warmer for Michael J. Fox, or Elisabeth Shue or end up sitting next to Chloe race Moretz (Hit Girl from “Kick-Ass”) or Taylor Lautner (up for an acting award, no kidding).
