The dead will rise this weekend, and you can be one of them.
Jay Bushman’s Loose-Fish Project is producing a social network based, collaborative theatre that anyone can be part of called The Talking Dead. To join the collaboration, simply set up a new Twitter, Foursquare, or other social networking account under the name of your favorite dead person, celebrity or otherwise. You’ll be sent prompts and further instructions via @thetalkingdead Twitter account, including when your dead person will rise from the dead and begin to interact with the world.
Previously, Bushman did this surrounding with HP Lovecraft’s Cthulu mythos, where players would explain how they’d react, in character, when assorted monsters began to take over the earth.
Think of the Loose-Fish Project as being the Dungeon Master of a weekend long roleplaying game that requires only your creativity, and no dice. Along with text, players can upload images, interact with friends to spiral off with their own storylines, and even tie in their normal day to day activities with what occurs in the timeline of the game.
