Halloween’s “Million Dollar Ghost Hunt” was cancelled late Saturday. Those who had RSVP’d online have been emailed notice, but we’re repeating it here to ensure the word gets out to anyone hoping to be added to the standby list.

Co-organizer Nick Matonak told us, “It was just some miscommunication and misunderstandings about the type and size of event between me and the Million Dollar.”

Sunday’s ghost hunt was billed as “the world’s largest ghost hunt,” and the RSVP list was booked with 100 attendees quickly after it was first announced early in October. There are no plans to reschedule the event.

However, the LAVA Salon that would have preceded the ghost hunt is still confirmed to take place, with plenty of Halloween themed entertainment sheduled to take place between 12pm and 2pm at Clifton’s Cafeteria.
