This sounds like a dream come true for CreepyLA readers: Cinespia, the group that has been running the cemetery screenings inside Hollywood Forever Cemetery for over ten years, have announced an all night movie-thon running from dusk, Saturday, August 18th, til dawn on Sunday morning.
…it’s a Cinespia sleepover–with great films like WET HOT AMERICAN SUMMER and SLEEPAWAY CAMP, DJs, photobooths, and summer camp activities. Come early, come late, stay all night if you like!
This one pretty much sells itself, especially at only $10 per ticket (purchase here). And if you’ve yet to see it, “Sleepaway Camp” is the epitome of early 80s low budget horror fun.
But our big questions: can we bring a tent? Will there be s’mores? Do we earn merit badges? Can we bring a hockey mask and machete? (things we usually want to know when we’re going to summer camp).
Plan to go? Let us know in the comments!
