Quote the raven in this tribute to Edgar Allen Poe from the Re-Animator team

The director, writer, and star of horror classic Re-Animator have reteamed for a “Nevermore,” a stage production recreating the final year’s of Edgar Allen Poe’s life.

Based on real events, Jeffrey Combs plays a recently widowed Poe as he battles his demons while making his way on a cross country speaking tour. The script, by Dennis Paoli, includes recitations of “The Raven,” “The Tell Tale Heart,” among other Poe classics. The one man show is directed by Stuart Gordon.
