Cast of VH-1's "Scream Queens" season one.

Hey there, pretty ladies who love to scream and fantasize about being slaughtered on screen by a serial killer or any assorted type of maniacal sadist, VH-1 is looking for you!

The reality show “Scream Queens” is back for a second season and is looking for a cast of ten unknown beauties to compete against each other through assorted acting challenges to win a “breakout role” in an upcoming Lionsgate feature film.

First season challenges included seeing who could best beg for their life in front of a chainsaw killer, coping with being covered in cockroaches, and posing for a horror film poster shoot. Typical casting couch action. (Last year’s winner was local girl Tanedra Howard, from Inglewood, who was awarded with a part in “Saw VI.”)

Open casting calls will be held in Los Angeles on August 29th and in New York on September 12th, where actresses will be asked to read the part of Irene from the sides downloadable here (rehearse, rehearse, rehearse!). If you’re unable to attend, the casting agents are also encouraging candidates to apply by mail (details here).
