The El Capitan Theatre’s annual screening of “The Nightmare Before Christmas” gets an added boost this year, stepping up from a 3-D presentation to “4-D,” which the LA Times’ Hero Complex blog describes as “Disney 3-D plus special effects in the theater itself, such as wind and fog.”
The 7pm, October 22nd screening will feature a live performance by composer Danny Elfman. The LA Times has corrected their post to say that Elfman will only be presenting the film, NOT performing, and he’ll actually be there on the 21st.
