Deal of the Week: All you can watch horror films at the Silent Theatre

"The House of the Devil" plays with "Dead Alive" on October 15th at the Silent Theatre.

We feel a little guilty for not posting this earlier, but, to be honest, we didn’t want the word to get out so soon that the theatre would be too packed for us to get it in.

Cinefamily, the group operating The Silent Theatre on Fairfax, offers monthly memberships for $25 that allows you to visit the theatre for just about every cinematic offering they have. This deal happens year round, but for horror fans, it may be the best $25 you spend this month.

Their typically clever programming gets into the Halloween spirit for the month of October, including a “slumber party” themed double feature of “The Craft” and “Teen Witch” on the 9th, The Diabolical Dr. Cinefamily’s Horrifying Anthology Of Horror Anthologies cobbling together their favorite segments from such films as “Night Train To Terror” and “Creepshow” on the 22nd, and a Halloween night presentation of “The House on Haunted Hill” and “The Tingler” with the daughter of director William Castle in attendance.
